The Trustees during the 10th OCC (Oct 29 - Nov 2, 2003) at Goa initiated a new programme of activity wherein a conference exclusively for young research scholars was planned. Accordingly, the Chairman of the Council was invited to organize this conference. The 1st J-NOST conference was held at Pune, in November 2004. Following this successful meet, it was proposed to hold these conferences at regular intervals.
